What will the project boundary look like?

FAQ

The Border Basin project will be surrounded by fencing and in some locations, natural screening (such as trees and shrubs.) This is done to keep the green landscapes of Hancock County intact. As part of the Ohio Power Siting Board requirements, the Border Basin Solar Project is conducting rigorous visual impact analysis. This analysis evaluates the local viewshed and helps the project management team make informed design decisions to serve surrounding residents and community members. There are also setbacks between the fence line and adjoining properties, so you can be assured that all fencing will be done on the same property as the solar panels and will not encroach on neighboring land.
